  • To apply for Technical Sales Engineer, you are excellent at :

  • Managing Client’s bids (RFQ, RFP) accordingly to the T&C’s of the bid. Coordinate discussions between internal contributors, assign deadlines to individual stakeholders, and prepare responses in a timely manner.
  • Distilling customer needs into action-oriented deliverables using the PIF from the Business Development.
  • Coordinating with the Subject Matter Experts (SME), as needed, to develop and draft a custom Scope of Work ( SOW ).
  • Managing the computation of labor resources, costing.
  • Coordinating with Executive Leadership for special price approvals on behalf of Business Development.
  • Meeting deadlines by being capable to prioritize responsibilities and balancing your workload.
  • Working with the commercial leads to prioritize proposals during times of high volume.
  • Evaluating technical requirements and distill customer needs into creative solutions and action-oriented deliverables.
  • When needed, interfacing directly with customers to answer questions relating to the proposals or refine the SOW.
  • Attending project hand-off meetings with the Sales Support team to provide the necessary project information for the execution team.
  • Monitoring and maintaining the Proposal ID Tracker and CRM tool for an up-to-date status of each request.
  • Analyzing feedback received from clients and the sales organization to improve future proposals.
  • Coordinating with Sr. Manager Sales Operations to maintain the SOW Library up to date.
  • Your Success Profile includes :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Renewable Energy, or relevant technical field or equivalent combination of education and experience (4+ years experience).
  • Minimum of 2+ years of technical background in a customer-facing role in a technical field.
  • Minimum of 2+ years in a customer-facing role; in the Renewable Energy industry preferred.
  • Direct renewable energy industry (and especially solar or storage) work experience is a plus.
  • Experience writing proposals and developing scopes of work preferred.
  • Proactive behavior, Can do / Get it done attitude.
  • Excellent verbal and technical writing skills in English.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced start-up environment.
  • Must be self-motivated with an ability to balance multiple projects under tight deadlines.
  • Possess good problem solving, organizational skills, and exceptional attention to detail.
  • Skilled in multitasking and concurrently managing multiple projects.
  • Knowledge of CRM software, specifically Hubspot and / or Deltek is a plus.
  • Ability and desire to work with customers with integrity and professionalism.
  • Must be self-motivated with an ability to balance multiple projects under tight deadlines.
  • Ability to interact directly with clients daily in North American time zones
  • Strong interpersonal skills and experience in working with interdisciplinary teams of colleagues and external parties.
  • Must be a supportive team member, able to work in a collaborative environment as well as work on self-directed independent projects
