As a key member of the Asia Pacific HR team, the Consultant, HR Business Partner reports to the Director, Human Resources and supports designated areas of the business (client group) to provide generalist HR services as a single point of contact and business partner :

What You'll Bring :

  • University degree and an Human Resources diploma or equivalent;
  • 10 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3-5 as a Business Partner / senior generalist worked in multi-national companies, and can be a strong leader and member of the Philippines leadership team.
  • Analytical thinking and experience with HRMS, ideally Workday and Learning Management Systems;
  • Comfortable working in a constant changing environment with strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask;
  • Customer focus with strong interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written in English);
  • Proven risk management skills with an ability to analyze issues, understanding group dynamics and communicate well at all levels;
  • not afraid to respectfully challenge the status quo;
  • Ability to work well as part of a team and individually with minimal supervision, as required;
  • Broader business knowledge a definite asset;
  • Outgoing, self-motivated, independent, strong presentation and interpersonal skills;
  • Highly organized, detailed oriented with high level of integrity and a can-do attitude;
  • Flexible and able to work multi-tasks;
  • Good knowledge and well-versed with Philippines Employment Ordinance;
  • Exceptional computer skills in Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Impact You'll Make :

  • Consulting with Talent Acquisition on recruitment needs for all approved positions.
  • Assisting with onboarding, new hire learning, associate development, talent management and associate relations.
  • Supporting employee engagement, assisting in new programs deployment.
  • Proactively driving positive employee relations and engagement by open communication and balancing associate advocacy and manager consultation on employee relations and performance management.
  • Providing operational human resources support and guidance in the areas of performance, career planning, resource planning, development, and supporting client group managers on talent management and driving engagement.
  • Educating managers on changes and supporting change.
  • Acting as a back-up for HRIS and benefit administration related duties, enforcing internal controls and maintaining data integrity on relevant systems, policy and statutory compliance
  • Applying process to execute with excellence.
  • In addition, supporting the HR team and business with :

  • Align closely with local leadership to help execute business objectives through various talent strategies, including organization design, building leadership capability and a strong growth culture.
  • Managing HR projects end to end.
  • Initiatives and improvements within cross functional teams in Hong Kong, Philippines and India, and globally to drive innovation and efficiency, adoption and implementation of HR best practices and executing flawlessly.
  • Company policies and procedures, revisions, implementation and communication.
  • Value-added deployment and follow through of HR initiatives, processes and systems.
  • Assisting in people cost budget and forecast planning.
  • Coaching and counselling employees, managers and leaders on a variety of routine / moderately complex employee relations issues and providing problem resolution and conflict management guidance.
  • Proactively identifying areas for improvement and development plans / approaches to remediate employee issues.
  • Managing core HR practices (e.g. compensation administration, performance management) and partner with Centres of Excellence to ensure best practices and efficiencies.
  • Driving manager and associate self-sufficiency on HRMS and with regular HR processes.
