IT Security Analyst - DLP
This position is primarily responsible for administration and maintenance of Symantec Data Loss Prevention. Additional tasks will involve report generation, product evaluation and interaction with project management, audit, compliance and various business groups at all levels of management.
II. ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONS :
The Security Analyst DLP holds a key position in the architectural branch of the security department and indirectly reports to the head of IT Security Architecture.
The Citco IT Security department is responsible for developing security policies and overseeing information security programs and initiatives within the Citco enterprise.
III. PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES :
A. Technical Expectations / Professional Practices :
Assist with management of global enterprise deployment of Symantec Data Loss Prevention to include development and maintenance of policies, deployment and maintenance of detection servers, user administration, reporting and documentation.
Manage Windows based Enforce management platform as well as Email Prevent and Discover based policies.
Work directly with high level business managers and project team to create and implement new content based policies, implement new features and functionality, integrate with any relevant associated technologies, as well as facilitate creation of new business processes.
Integrate new Cloud Service based policies and features.
Involvement in special projects and investigations.
Maintain expertise on security trends through training and personal research. Candidate must be driven to know and understand security related events in the IT industry in order to help identify and mitigate exposures that could affect Citco.
Basic Knowledge of ticketing systems, as well as document management applications and Excel for document management and report tracking.
Provide data and present metrics reports for compliance and internal audit purposes.

C. Background / Qualifications / Skills :
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience working in the IT Security industry.
Enterprise level experience with Symantec Data Loss Prevention is a must.
Security and Microsoft certifications preferred.
Knowledge of Email Systems (MS Exchange), Active Directory, PowerShell, CASB, General Networking concepts, Windows 2008 R2, Windows 2012 R2, VPN / Remote Access and VMware is preferred.
Excellent written and verbal communications skills. Must be able to communicate effectively with all levels of staff.
Must be able to effectively manage multiple concurrent projects / tasks with high attention to detail.
D. Previous Work Experience :
Two or more years developing and supporting an Enterprise level Symantec Data Loss Prevention implementation in a Windows environment.
This includes software installations, server deployment, configuration, policy and program development, monitoring, documentation and ongoing maintenance.
