This role is within the Corporate Systems HRIT / Administration group in the Information Technology organization at AIG and a member of our Manila based support team.
The Worker Data Hub (WDH) team is responsible to support and assist with developing enhancements for WDH platform (IBM DataStage).
Co-located with other Corporate System teams will ensure support of the technology solutions and processes and apply break-fixes as needed.
As an integral member of our Corporate Systems HRIT / Administration team, the System Support Analyst is charged with using their technical and application knowledge to triage production issues and communicate to both stakeholders and management this includes priority assessment, fix in place, initiating and supporting resolution teams and the tenacity to carry tactical fixes to resolution.
To be successful in this role, the candidate must have experience and knowledge in infrastructure, operating systems (e.
g., Windows and Linux), databases (Oracle / SQLServer), networking, and designing and developing extract, transform and load (ETL) processes using IBM DataStage.
Other development tools and languages desired are SQL, Java and HTML5. Finally, the candidate must have communication skills to elaborate upon these topics in simple meaningful terms.
