You will work with Scrum teams responsible for building and maintaining key distributed Payments systems, and will help the same to deliver APIs for our strategic capabilities and support the optimisation of our current technology stack.
Together with the Product Owner, Chief Scrum Master and Chief Engineer, you will also determine capability needs within the team.
As Scrum Master, you will facilitate a delivery environment to release value on time using the Scrum Framework. You will facilitate effective team ceremonies including stand ups, sprint planning, showcases and retrospectives.
You will also use metrics effectively to improve the performance and quality of the team, and balance delivery with improvements.
Finally, you will be an advocate for Agile culture and values, and coach your team to higher performance.
To be successful in this role, you will bring your experience in technical and business feature delivery using Scrum and strong multi-level stakeholder and relationship management skills.
You will need to have excellent organisation and people skills, a proven track record in successfully working and collaborating with multiple teams across different groups, as well as be a natural problem solver with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Although not required, 3+ years' experience as a Scrum Master and / or CSM (or equivalent) certification will be highly valued.
Our strategic platforms operate on Java, microservices, and Cloud technologies, so skills in these will also be desirable.
