ROLE OVERVIEW : The Technical Consultant’s (TC) primary role is to provide technical support to customers and building technical competencies of Elanco sales and its channel partners.

The TC is responsible for the successful development and implementation of technical platforms and programs, making sure that those are aligned to the company’s objectives.

Furthermore, the TC is in charge in the execution / monitoring company-sponsored clinical trials. Technical Support : Capability Build up and Deployment

  • Provides technical support to customers thru farm visits, virtual consultations, necropsy support and training programs.
  • Develop and implement current and relevant technical programs and materials to internal sales and channel partners as aligned with the building capabilities program and channel partner development.
  • Responsible for the review and / or approval of promotional materials (e.g., technical presentations).
  • Continuously updates the team on the current diseases, management tools and competitors’ products in the market.
  • Contribute actively to differentiate Elanco technical capabilities and products from competitors.
  • Conduct field trial : proper design of trial protocols, monitoring of implementation to results interpretation and conclusion, as required by and aligned with regulatory, sales and marketing
  • Actively participate and contribute to local and international technical fora and events highlighting Elanco’s commitment to the industry.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures when interacting and promoting products and customers, to protect the Elanco brand and business. Customer Centricity :
  • Analyzes needs and requirements by interacting with customers and sales teams, determining appropriate needs and aspirations to match and develop technical capabilities and support.
  • Support Sales teams thru meeting customers and gathering feedback on a first-hand basis.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the customer and customer needs Develop and maintain business relationships with key opinion leaders and strategic accounts :
  • Maintains a high level of professional relationship with Key Opinion Leaders, external customers, decision makers and key influences in the industry to seek out opportunities to enhance our business performance.
  • Actively participate in scientific conferences and meetings (e.g., poultry associations, PVDA, PCPP, PhilSAN, PVMA, VPAP, PSAS, etc.
  • thru presentations (oral and posters) to include manning trade stands and general customer liaison at all levels Qualification

  • A degree in Veterinary Medicine from a reputable academic institution.
  • Relevant professional experience in the animal health and production industry.

  • Positive attitude and fits well with Elanco Cultural Pillars.
  • Ability to adapt technical information for non-technical audience.
  • Interpret data to drive evidence-based decision making.
  • Demonstrated experience in working effectively with teams and various functional areas such as research, development, marketing services.
  • finance, customer service and business development.

  • A results-driven team player able to work in and with a proactive team with a high degree of customer focus.
  • Excellent organizational and implementation skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects, multi-task and prioritize.

  • Mastery of and compliance with project approval requirements, Elanco policies and procedures. Other Information Travel : Approximately 75% of the time.
