ManilaSummary of RoleThe Technology Program Leader within Health and Benefits (H&B) will lead and shape key functions within the software development lifecycle ( Engineering, QA, Product Owners / BAs, Design UI / UX).
These teams will be delivering on market strategies and software roadmaps for multiple SaaS based product solutions in the H&B software Responsibilities Lead and shape the software development team QA, Engineering, Product Owner / BA, Design UI / UX.
Partner with peers across disciplines (PMO, Architecture, Product Leadership) across global time zones to ensure on-time and on-
budget delivery of quality software.Manage the Software Development functional leaders to : balance the annual goals and objectives against the changing needs of the company’s products / servicesdefine, deploy, and drive sustainable and repeatable process improvements through the entire software development life-
cycletailor and implement best practices and working standards to achieve the highest product quality, while continuously improving performance and the productivity of the software development team Manage and facilitate multiple teams to ensure software development efforts meet quality objectives and release targets, using a distributed Agile Scrum modelPromote effective Agile Scrum practices to meet / exceed software development goals.
Embrace and contribute to the team’s Agile philosophy.Prioritize and manage resource allocation for the software products based on changing business priorities and budget constraintsSupport strategy to integrate H&B software portfolio, develop and leverage common architecture, technology and practices between the various productsManage morale of software development organization.
Create and communicate employee performance evaluations and development plans. Host town halls and Q&A sessions regionally.
Accountable for budget planning, progress reports and for making effective financial decisions and report on outcomes and ROI.
Participate in, and provide, inputs to the overall annual H&B technology budget.Requirements B.S. in Computer Science, Engineering or a related disciplineMinimum of 10 years’ experience in the software industry, minimum 5 years managing technical teams in an Agile software development environment.
Demonstrated experience inspiring, mentoring and managing multi-disciplinary Agile teamsExperience developing SaaS products in high scale environmentsAbility to handle multiple competing priorities in a fast-
paced environmentSelf-starter attitude and ability to work well within ambiguityPassion for software development excellence through driving efficiencies, effective practices and continuous improvement.
Proven experience in ensuring teams uphold the highest standards for delivering high quality software.Solid understanding of the US Healthcare Business applications / technology offeringsProven ability in developing and nurturing key relationships with critical stakeholders and partners to facilitate effective communication, manage expectations, and deliver resultsExcellent verbal and writing skills, including the ability to effectively communicate to non-

Experience working for a national or global commercial software product company requiring software product usage and high availability in a 24 / 7 / 365 model.
