Senior Engineer N. London Thames Water AMP7

An exciting opportunity to join a new project in north London at Murphy as a Senior Engineer on a 4-year long utilities framework worth £200m.

Murphy have been working with Thames Water for over 40 years delivering critical infrastructure across London.

THAMES WATER AMP7

  • Thames Water AMP7 is a 4-year long framework (plus a possible 5 year extension into AMP8)
  • Murphy is a Primary Contractor in Lot 5 North London Infrastructure, value £200m
  • The framework will consist of the delivery of ECI, detailed design, build, commissioning and handover of water and wastewater infrastructure schemes
  • Include individual projects up to £30m (majority will be less than £15m with average value of £5 7m)
  • Design Partner in place
  • Featuring repairs and build of new assets including water treatment plants, pump stations, sewers, pipeline, reservoirs and drainage.

    YOUR PROFILE

  • Extensive engineering experience on a water / utilities project
  • Significant proven experience in large civil engineering projects
  • Ability to produce, implement and manage safe systems of work for construction procedures
  • Confidence to communicate and present to top level management, clients and the public
  • An understanding of the commercial issues in undertaking a large-scale construction project
  • Ability to discuss engineering issues with people across various levels and disciplines
  • Excellent knowledge of current civil engineering legislation as well as Health and Safety and Environmental legislation
  • SMSTS, SCMC, water hygiene card, CSCS Card
  • Full, clean drivers license
  • Degree qualified or equivalent HNC / HND
  • Appropriate safety training IOSSH, PTS
  • IT literate : Microsoft Office etc
