PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Help define enterprise wide SharePoint online governance and enforce compliance of all development.
  • Maintain and enhance the SGS Intranet site built on Sharepoint Online.
  • Analyze and review business requirements to determine where SharePoint could be leveraged.
  • Provide guidance to the business owners on the site structure and creation of reusable content.
  • Develop components of Apps on SharePoint online.
  • Provide 3rd level support on the components and Apps developed.

  • SPECIFIC TASK AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Take responsibility of maintaining the SGS Intranet Site and ensure optimal performance.
  • Collaborate with the infrastructure team to define and build a governance around SharePoint online developments.
  • Assist the business users in the definition and design of standard team sites to ensure compliance with the governance.
  • Review and analyze business requirements related to customized team sites development.
  • Supervise the technical implementation of team sites by coaching and assisting the developers when needed.
  • Participate to the development of components and Apps on SharePoint online.
  • Review and adjust best practices periodically, following the technical evolution of the SharePoint online platform.
  • Ensure the 3rd level support of existing sites in collaboration with the business teams.
  • At all times, comply with SGS Code of Integrity and Professional Conduct.
  • PROFILE

  • High Level Degree or equivalent in Computer Science or related subject.
  • Minimum 7 years of relevant SharePoint development experience, including 2 years of experience in SharePoint online.
  • Proficient in SharePoint Designer and proven ability to develop, configure and enhance custom and OOB applications, web parts and workflows.
  • Proficient in Visual Studio and proven ability to develop SharePoint Apps.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of SharePoint APIs and architecture including experience with SharePoint REST services and client APIs.
  • Hands on experience developing and utilizing SharePoint components including, forms, templates, external lists, external content types, custom lists, BCS, service applications, web parts, master pages and content management.
  • Web development using HTML / HTML5, CSS / CSS3 and JavaScript components and frameworks (jQuery, AngularJS, Knockout.js, ).
  • A strong and deep knowledge in developing PowerShell command lets and modules.
  • Good knowledge of Flow and PowerApps is a plus.
  • Good knowledge of the OfficeDev / PnP is a plus.
  • Good knowledge of C# and the .Net Framework is a plus.
