Job Summary : Analyze statistical data and generate business insights to improve customer experience. Responsibilities :

  • Use statistical methods to analyze data and generate business insights
  • Interpret data and analyze results using statistical techniques
  • Use data to create models that identify profiles and depict trends in the customer base
  • Work with other departments and / or in cross-functional teams to identify specific data needs; Work closely with management to prioritize requirements
  • Deliver data and findings in context, and in a manner that is relevant and actionable to the requestor
  • Partner with Operations, IT and data warehouse teams to develop strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and data qualityIdentify and define process improvement opportunitiesEvaluate feasibility of leveraging both primary and secondary data sources to optimize quality and depth of insights delivered
  • Knowledge :

  • Statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing large datasets (Excel, SPSS, SAS etc)
  • Reporting packages (Business Objects etc), databases (SQL etc), programming (XML, Javascript, or ETL frameworks)
  • MS Office Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications : Skills and Competencies :

  • 2-3 years working experience as a data analyst
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organise, analyse, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Adept at queries, report writing and presenting findings
  • Strong project management skills; able to deliver multiple requirements on time
  • Demonstrated leadership potential; able to influence others despite the absence of reporting relationships
  • Flexible, results oriented and able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Very good oral, written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to interact with and influence people at all levels of the organization
  • Education :

  • Must hold a BS in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management or Statistics
