Job Description : Job Purpose
The SEO and Webmaster Tools Specialist principal role is to work with our Product Owners, marketing stakeholders and Agile teams to improve organic search results, manage SEO campaigns, identify areas of opportunity and attempt to improve the Press web marketing sites rankings in major search engines.
The specialist will generate and send reporting for our Product Owners and Agile teams, analyze and setup proper website SEO for site builds and existing websites.
The Specialist must be comfortable in highly collaborative environments across multiple time zones and geographical locations.
Reviewing and analyzing sites for areas that can be improved and optimized
Identifying powerful keywords to drive the most valuable traffic
Developing link building strategies
Analyzing keywords and SEO techniques used by competitors
Keeping updated on both white hat and black hat SEO strategies to avoid stay within search engine guidelines
Compiling and presenting SEO guidelines
Oversee and manage production-maintained marketing websites at a webmaster's capacity.
Collaborate with CWS Agile teams to ensure accurate site updates.
Monitor sites for metrics, KPI, browser compatibility, broken links and images, new content, and product updates, across different locales.
Monitor and administer web analytics dashboards, reports and key reporting tools, and point out key areas of importance in accordance to Web Marketing goals
Compile analytics reports, and collaborate with Product Owners, Web Marketing stakeholders and Agile teams within CWS
Conduct action plans for website load speed, optimization, audience visibility, and reach.
Leverage new technology and frameworks, and help drive innovation and R&D.
Knowledge and Experience
Has at least 3 years of technical SEO experience
Experience with website taxonomy and page-speed optimization for highly trafficked websites
Familiarity with .htaccess, robots.txt, and site speed optimization
Experience with SEO tools such as Google Search Console, Moz, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, etc.
Extensive knowledge of past and current Google search algorithm trends
Advanced knowledge of Google Webmaster tools, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager & other website analytics software
Working knowledge of search engine optimization practices
Outstanding ability to think creatively, strategically , and identify and resolve problems
Excellent verbal and written communication skill
Ability to work within a team and independently
Strong organizational, time management, and analytical skills
Preferably with degree in any of the following fields : BS Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology or equivalent or any related course.
