The Role Responsibilities
Strategy
Has responsibility for the development and execution of the FSS sales strategy in country
Responsibility over strategy for organic growth and origination
Market intelligence for client requirements / trends; requirements on a market advocacy perspective
Business
Accountable for reaching FSS sales budget, revenue targets and pipeline
Identify opportunities, client segments and product trends / requirements
Formulate sales and account planning to grow revenues
Responsible for key relationship management and client engagement
Processes
Sales discipline and ownership of the sales and deal closure process
Responsible for the deal approval / business approval process
People and Talent
Collaboration with other teams to meet sales objectives
Cross- selling with other teams within the bank
Risk Management
Identify and business at risk due to product limitations, service issues, etc.
Escalation for client issues
Resolution of client complaints; managing key relationship metrics
Governance
Escalate to management any compliance or governance issues
Regulatory & Business Conduct
Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group’s Values and Code of Conduct.
Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank.
This includes understanding and ensuring compliance with, in letter and spirit, all applicable laws, regulations, guidelines and the Group Code of Conduct.
Lead the PH FSS sales team to achieve the outcomes set out in the Bank’s Conduct Principles : Fair Outcomes for Clients;
Effective Financial Markets; Financial Crime Compliance; The Right Environment.
Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters.
Key representative in industry discussions to spearhead lobby efforts for the Bank as a differentiator
