JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS :
Two postdoctoral positions are immediately available in Dr. Zheng-Ming Ding’s laboratory at the Department of Anesthesiology of The Pennsylvania State University College of Medicine.
The appointment will be 2-3 years. Dr. Ding’s research is NIH-funded and is focused on elucidating neurobiological mechanisms underlying the development of drug use disorders, including nicotine and ethanol.
An array of behavioral (e.g., drug self-administration), neurochemical (e.g., microdialysis and HPLC), and molecular biological (e.
g., immunoassay) techniques are currently utilized in the lab. We are seeking highly motivated individuals with strong creative and critical thinking and a desire to learn and expand their interests and expertise.

Pursuant to the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act and the Pennsylvania Act of 1988, Penn State publishes a combined Annual Security and Annual Fire Safety Report (ASR).
The ASR includes crime statistics and institutional policies concerning campus security, such as those concerning alcohol and drug use, crime prevention, the reporting of crimes, sexual assault, and other matters.
