With Freelancer continuing to grow, we are growing our local jobs offering through market-making; a proactive sales-orientated approach to connecting employers and freelancers in local regions.

We are therefore searching for an awesome Account Manager to take up this mission and play a vital role in growing our local marketplace across the world.

  • In this role, no two jobs will be the same. On one hand, you will be solving problems for a diverse range of industries, businesses and entrepreneurs;
  • on the other you will help provide people with employment opportunity. If you are excited by the thought of seeing these connections and projects come to life, then we would love to hear from you.

    Requirements

  • Fluent English; both written and spoken
  • Proactive and a self-starter; constantly seeks new challenges
  • Remains calm under pressure
  • Target driven
  • Ability to multi-task with a knack for solving problems in new and creative ways
  • Excellent communication skills; able to express complex ideas simply and concisely
  • And we'd love it if you had :

  • A keen interest in tech and the start up community
  • Experience in a customer-facing sales role, particularly via phone, email and chat
  • A degree or diploma in a business / marketing / communications or related discipline
  • Experience with web-based businesses
