  • Job purpose : The Project Controls Engineer is responsible for supporting project cost activities including engineering, procurement, construction, and operations.
  • Project Controls monitors the tools and systems necessary to effectively and proactively manage, control, and report cost and schedule for concurrent projects throughout the organization.

    You will have the primary responsibility for ensuring that project controls activities are completed accurately, consistently and timely from project set-up through project close-out.

    his role will require a customer-focused individual with strong entrepreneurship, robust communication skills and the ability to collaborate with and influence diverse, cross-functional teams.

  • Key responsibilities and accountabilities :
  • Overall responsible for supporting PMs on maintaining compliance and accuracy of Projects’ Budget and Schedule.
  • Manage Project Cost and Schedule throughout the project life cycle
  • Coordination and regulating various meetings such as project budget review meeting and project progress review
  • Identifies and tracks weekly changes or potential changes to the project scope, ensuring estimates of cost and / or schedule changes impact are communicated to the management.
  • Coordinate with PM on ensuring timeliness in updating tools like Kloudgin and Leankor
  • Confirms month-end Accruals with PM to support Projects Accounting requirement
  • Validates billing data based on schedule and provides relevant billing status and forecast
  • Coordinate between PM and Demand planner on accurate PV Demand Forecast Submission.
  • Ability to respond to ad hoc request from EPC Team and other business units related to Controls / Reporting.
  • Job Requirements :

  • Degree in Engineering or accounting with specialization in either Project Management, Scheduling and Budget management
  • Minimum 1-2 years relevant working experience either as project scheduler, cost engineer, or associate project manager preferably in Construction / EPC Industry
  • Attention to detail and quality approach to assignments.
  • Understanding of project cost control fundamentals with analytical skills
  • Knowledge in Salesforce, MS Projects, or P6 is a plus.
  • Proficient in MS Excel and PowerPoint
  • Willing to work in shifting schedule, preferably North America Shift 2
  • Ability to communicate at all levels of the organization
