Oversee the equity research process and ensure that investment ideas are delivered by in a timely manner.
Continually evaluate and enhance the equity research process and ensure that portfolio stock and sector selection are driven by thorough fundamental analysis that will include the following : financial statement analysis, analysis of industry prospects, corporate strategies and stock valuation.
Help develop quantitative strategies to serve as an overlay in the fundamental investment process.
Act as the alternate to the desk head and portfolio managers in conducting equity market and equity fund performance briefings for the Investment Committee, distribution channels and clients.
Bachelor’s Degree preferably in Economics, Finance, or related field. CFA charterholder preferred.
3-5 years experience as an equity analyst in either the sell side or the buy side.
Strong knowledge of the Philippine equity market.
Strong analytical, interpersonal, presentation and communication skills.
Sound knowledge of the quantitative methods used to estimate the fair value of listed companies.
High level of integrity and strong work ethic.
Proficient in basic computer applications and in key equity functions of Bloomberg.
