Caspio is seeking a captivating PR story teller who can engage a wide range of business audiences. This role reports to the Vice President of Global Marketing and works closely with our Content Marketing and Demand Generation teams.

Establish, nurture and leverage relationships with press, broadcast media, analysts and other industry influencers. Technology media relations experience is a must for this role.
Secure opportunities for market exposure, including bylined articles, sponsored content, guest blogs, executive interviews, speaking opportunities, broadcast segments, etc.
You must have a solid understanding of the process to pitch storylines to technology reporters and outlets and have a robust portfolio of published content.
Prepare briefing kits and presentations, write and issue press releases, coordinate and support PR-related activities at Caspio events and manage media inquiries.
Own Caspio’s industry awards program and prepare award submissions, working in conjunction with the Content Marketing and Product Marketing teams.
Provide a steady stream of industry news and thought-leadership content for our Social Media team to circulate.
Measure success of media strategies and coverage, including generating and monitoring media pickups and prepare reports for management.
Experience managing public relations agencies is desired.
Bachelor’s Degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or related field.
At least 7 years of experience in public relations working for B2B technology companies. Experience working for a PR agency is also desired.
Experienced at fostering relationships with media, analysts, and other industry influencers.
Strong media relations / storytelling skills proven track record of generating coverage for products and data-driven stories in business, trade and technology publications.
Polished English writing, communication, and presentation skills.
Strong project management skills and ability to lead cross-functional teams. Ability to work cross-functionally with other groups, including product marketing, content marketing, demand gen and social media.
Ability to quickly grasp technical concepts within cloud computing, databases and custom business applications. Knowledge of the SaaS technology industry is preferred.
Proficient in media monitoring tools with strong analytical skills to extract and communicate trends, KPIs, and other metrics.
Ability to thrive and meet aggressive goals and timelines without sacrificing quality.
