Job Description

Internal staff should submit performance evaluation from immediate supervisor and performance rating which is at least very satisfactory for the last rating period (January to June 2013) :

  • Primary Functions :

  • Conducts interviews, home visits, counseling, case management, adoption and foster care fora and jail visit when necessary.
  • Handles court-related cases.
  • Prepares social case study reports and home study reports.
  • Attends hearings and testifies in court pertaining to cases of adoption.
  • Prepares / submits project proposals, accomplishment reports and other related reports.
  • Refers neglected, abandoned, abused, exploited and surrendered children to institutions and other organizations for services which are deemed appropriate.
  • Represents DSWD in meetings and conferences and coordinates with other agencies.
  • Perform other related tasks as may be assigned.

  • Valid PRC Report of Rating and License (Social Worker)
  • Request for extension of submission will not be entertained.Applicants who failed to submit the complete requirements are considered disqualified.
