Market Data Services Specialist Location : Manila Department : Market Data Services Manager : Yvonne Alter Group Description The Market Data Services Team is responsible for all tasks related to the administration and reporting of exchange and non exchange content to ensure the compliance with existing agreements and regulations.
Crucial is the support of the Wealth Solutions SBU and the customer projects in Europe, USA and Asia / Pacific. The team works closely together with Sales, Finance, Legal, Product Management, Project Teams and the IT.
The tasks of the team include data consultancy, classifying the data usage of different products and projects and interpretation of exchange rules and policies to apply for the specific customers.
Building standards for permissioning and data reporting is one of the key areas as well as maintenance of data prices lists and communication to customers about price and content changes.
The group implements also systems and processes to administrate the supplier data products and client entitlements to ensure compliance.
Job Description The Market Data Specialist is responsible for working closely with the Frankfurt team to support the Wealth Solutions SBU in the USA and Europe with different crucial tasks related to market data entitlement, reporting, rules management and compliance.

The successful candidate will be given the opportunity to grow into the role. At the beginning the focus is on a high volume of administrative tasks with possibilities to enhance the work area over time.
Responsibilities : Data Permissioning on customer and end user basis : fulfil customer orders, providing access to data after authorizations Set up of data products and add business rules into the internal permissioning system (product set up includes price data, data field and technical products) Support of the high quality standard of the department with performing tasks in a 4 eye principle (dual control) : Double checking the Laris product set up, monthly reports and data price list updates Ensure compliance with source agreements and regulations Support the monthly third party source reporting (time critical at the beginning of the month) and preparation of reports for the accounting department Creation of monthly data entitlement reports for customers and sending them out (pulled partly via SQL requests) Creation of monthly and ad hoc statistics User access administration for internal systems following the Sox procedures Handling of data related incidents within the FDSG incident process Perform different analysis tasks, perform and build SQL queries Creation of documentation and runbooks Support changes of the permissioning system (e.
g. testing, documentation and specifications) Close working relationship with the MDS team based in Frankfurt and colleagues of other internal groups as Sales, Finance, Development Requirements : Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Business Administration or Information Technology Practical working experience, ideally in the finance / market data area is a plus Experience with license agreements is a nice to have Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Advance experience in MS Excel, including macros Good Knowledge in SQL (building and performing SQL queries) Person who is focused on accuracy and correctness Exceptional analytical and problem solving skills Strong written and verbal communication skills, fluency in English Willingness to learn new things and flexibility to adapt easily to new situations and tasks.
