The Operations Specialist Client Operations is responsible for supporting financial business operations activities for the IDD Division.

This individual will be tasked with providing support across a variety of operations tasks, including, but not limited to, client project invoicing and expenses, external contractor maintenance and invoicing and weekly validation and reporting of financial control audit logs.

The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, detail-oriented and well organized with excellent communication skills. The ability to multi-task and adapt to shifting priorities is essential.

This person will also bring exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with internal team and external partners.


  • Support all aspects of client invoicing and expense activities in partnership with operations management team through collaboration with project leadership, project management, and Corporate Finance
  • Compiling and reconciling project pass-through expenses for client projects
  • Processing and file management of project related client POs
  • Support processing and file management of NEC (non-employee contractor) POs, time entry and invoicing
  • Compiling and processing of reports to support SOX Financial Control requirements (i.e., OTC-08 project setup QC, Fixed Fee Proof of Delivery, Time-Lock review record keeping, etc.).
  • Meet deadlines, and complete other essential daily and long-term activities
  • May provide operational excellence support, including improvement of business practices
  • Coordinate with and support business operations activities by working with other business units as required
  • Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business, operations, engineering or relevant field
  • A minimum of 1-3 years of experience in business operations and / or consulting in a professional services environment
  • Knowledge of basic accounting principles, along with expertise in MS Office suite, OneDrive, MS Teams, SharePoint, etc.
  • Understanding of the unique needs of people operations within a professional services firm, from recruiting to invoice and expense management to project delivery
  • Prior experience in defining and optimizing business operations processes is a plus
  • Ability to build strong relationships across functional areas & influence at various levels of the organization
  • Strong team player
  • Leadership and Organizational skills
  • Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
  • Able to conduct a variety of operations transactions, operations analyses and implementation tasks
  • Takes initiative and leads the work of others, as appropriate
