QA Engineer - Manager
We are looking for a QA Engineer (Managerial level) to support our Workday HRC testing project.
Negotiate the ongoing purpose and deliverables of the test effort.
Ensure the appropriate planning and management of the test resources.
Provide training / support on the Zephyr (Jira) testing tool after initial training sessions.
Estimate the necessary time to complete the testing.
Assess the progress and effectiveness of the test effort, re-align testing priorities when necessary.
Advocate the appropriate level of quality by the resolution of critical / severe defects.
Make recommendations for additional training requirements / enhancement brainstorm.
Provide templates and guidance to assist with test planning, preparation and execution.
Complete, review and approve the Test Plan.
Oversee and manage the preparation of test scenarios based on conditions and business processes defined in Statement of Work, system design and business requirements.
Coordinate the test schedule.
Validate that the entry criteria is met before the testing phase starts.
Validate that testing exit criteria is met before the testing stage is deemed complete and accepted.
Address any problems as they arise during testing.
Monitor defects in Zephyr and drive resolution to close out.
Facilitate daily conference calls with the testing team.
Ensure the testing team is provided with the necessary tools to complete the testing as scheduled.
Monitor daily testing metrics actuals vs. planned and take action where required.
Manage the sign off process.
Skill Level : Project Management
Experience with Workday HRC System.
Good communication, collaboration, and project planning skills.
Experience in a QA Manager role would be ideal.
