  • Research compensation statistics, conducting position evaluations, ensuring compliance with labor laws, making data-based decisions, determining the segments of the workforce contributing the most value, and conducting periodic audits.
  • Design and implement the company's first base pay structure, redesigned field and corporate pay plans to include key metrics that supported new open compensation philosophy and HR strategy
  • Manage and develop the company's workers compensation claims system and client/vendor communication protocol
  • Explain company compensation and benefit programs, such as medical, insurance, and enroll workers in specified programs
  • Develop, schedule, and conduct technical, management, and interpersonal skills training to improve employee performance
  • Prepare newsletter and other reports to communicate information about employee concerns and comments and organizational actions taken
  • Prepare reports and enter and update medical, insurance, and other personnel forms and records, using database
  • Audit benefit accounts and examine records to ensure compliance with standards and regulations
  • Arrange for employee physical examination, first aid, and other medical attention
  • Inspect facilities to determine if lighting, sanitation, and security are adequate and to ensure compliance with standards
  • Supervises clerical or administrative personnel
  • Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of Compensation and Benefits and Employee Relations experience
  • Degree in Human Resources or Psychology
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication
  • Demonstrated knowledge of employment law
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Good problem-solving ability
