About the role

The client is looking for ad operations, campaign management and media trading superstar to lead our growing Campaign Operations team in APAC.

You are a highly analytical and results-driven campaign operations professional; a proven leader who lives and breathes campaign management and strives to consistently exceed the expectations of clients and deliver exceptional campaign performance and trading excellence.

You thrive in a fast-pace, ever-changing marketplace that requires smart decisions and an eye for small changes that can become big waves. The right person for this role must be very detail-oriented, a strong communicator, collaborative, and a quick problem-solver and more importantly a leader to the team of Campaign Operations specialists.

This role is based in Melbourne, Australia, remote working options may be considered.


  • Portfolio management on all client related activities
  • Provide leadership to a team of Campaign Operations Specialists in APAC and put in place best practices, processes and technical competencies to deliver exceptional campaign performance and achieve trading and pricing excellence.
  • Holistically oversee APAC campaign execution, optimisation and trading excellence and work with Campaign Operations team to ensure delivery and attainment of campaign objectives as well as strategic commercial business objectives.
  • Actively monitor campaign KPIs via reporting; regularly use campaigns to test and implement innovative ideas
  • Provide ongoing campaign management ensuring optimal performance and delivery, constantly exceeding KPI expectations
  • Produce and present engaging campaign analysis to clients, demonstrating the effectiveness of planning, testing, and media optimization and management
  • Provide insight and guidance to team members
  • Provide strategic product vision and support the development of commercial product workflow design and processes
  • Technical experience to troubleshoot pixels/tags, creatives and 3rd party vendors to ensure proper campaign execution
  • Act as the technical point of contact for internal teams and clients
  • Communicate new product updates/features and value to internal teams
  • Team up with Account Management to develop upsell strategy to clients with the use of data & analytics, marketplace trends, and new features/products
  • Keep up to date with the evolving digital ecosystem and relevant cultural events that may have an impact on your buying strategy on campaigns
  • Internal and external client reporting


  • BA/BS 5+ years of hands-on campaign management, ad operations and programmatic media buying, including RTB trading/buying of (video) media
  • 3+ years of leading/managing campaign operations (Ad Ops) team
  • Proficient in Google Ads, DV360, FB Ads Manager emerging platforms like TikTok for Business
  • Experience in at least one or more of the following DSPs: The Trade Desk, DataXu, Amazon Advertising Platform, Adobe/TubeMogul and Sizmek
  • Passion and knowledge of the online video advertising space including marketplace trends, 3rd party research partners, DMPs, and studies
  • Knowledge of Excel calculations, pivot tables, and graphs
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills in-person, on the phone, or virtually
  • Proactive in catching issues and creating solutions before they escalate
  • A self-directed professional who understands client needs and operates with a sense of urgency, focus, and discipline
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented professional
  • Collaborative individual who can work in a team and independently
