Develop and implement winning sales strategies for each account to maximise sales and achieve growth & account profitability.
Plan and decide on the optimal resource allocation in line with the overall customer portfolio.
Identify, create and exploit new business opportunities.
Gain an in-depth understanding of the customers’ needs (both current and latent) via regular multi-layer contacts across the account as well as developing creative need hypotheses.
Establish close and effective relationships to Key- and Target Customers' key decision makers.
Develop in co-operation with the Sales Manager long term customer development plans for key customers.
Assess and evaluate information to identify and forecast market trends, issues and developments that might affect the accounts within the area of responsibility.
Advise and inform on customer activities, customer brands, market trends and competitors activities to aid strategic planning.
Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry, Food Science or related course.
Minimum 3-5 years Sales experience from a high-growth environment. Experience in Flavour / Food Ingredients would be an advantage.
Background in managing beverage accounts would be preferred.
Resourceful, able to work independently and manage competing priorities
Strong commercial / entrepreneurial mindset, self-motivated and driven to achieve sales and profit target proactively in a fast-paced environment
Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications
Strong Presentation & Inter-personal skills
Effective Negotiation & Communication Skills
