The Senior Account Manager role focuses on large Enterprise Accounts and manage the full length sales cycle including account management for new and existing clients.
They can easily identify opportunities and understand segments to be able to know which product feature to highlight and what to downplay.
Increase revenue by identifying, approaching and winning new accounts
Retain revenue by servicing the needs of existing accounts
Increase revenue per customer by identifying opportunities to grow or diversify their account
Ensure retention of existing accounts by managing full customer lifecycle and manage account closures
Identify potential commercial opportunities for the company where appropriate
Plan and execute penetration activities of competitor's accounts
Build relationships with contact persons and decision-makers in organizations with value to the company
Coordinate with engineering to identify and help prioritize areas for network expansion, primarily by developing a business case and representing the commercial interest of the company
Serve as an escalation point for customer support requirements and work with support and other teams to ensure customer satisfaction
Serve as the customer advocate and coordinator for engineering, billing or other teams where required (such as for scheduled maintenance or billing collection)
Develop recommendations in the form of an action plan and / or sales strategy for sales team and management
Execute, follow through and complete projects within assigned coverage
Lead and / or participate in campaigns and customer acquisition initiatives such as targeting specific buildings, areas, verticals or market segments
Champion sales process best practices to the wider sales team and direct reports
Provide leadership across wider junior sales associates team and direct reports on how to generate leads, create opportunities (do proper scoping), proposal preparation, and closing techniques
Coach and motivate direct reports, and where appropriate others to help them achieve their targets; specifically on field coaching and desk coaching.
Conduct one-on-one reviews with direct reports and give constructive feedback on their performance
Responsible for reporting overall sales efficiency and sales performance (monthly, quarterly and annually)

Proven track record in a similar role
Result-Oriented. Have a positive attitude toward challenges and the drive to excel
Understanding of relevant telecommunications requirements
Strong influencing skills
Strong communication skills and strong command of English
Demonstrable experience in a complex environment requiring attention to detail and time management
Established experience of exceeding sales targets and sales related achievements
Advanced and senior sales people with 5+ years who understand most of the above and can push and motivate teams to reach sales targets
Presentation skills, client management, negotiation, prospecting skills, creativity, and sales planning
Will be working outdoors most of the time
