Position Summary

A Telecommunications Administrator is required to provide network technical support assistance and troubleshooting to all company Professionals.

Assist other network administrators via escalations and collaborate on support items.Support will be provided via telephone, email and direct interaction with end users by on-desk or remote support.

This support will include remote assessment and resolution of problems, proper routing and escalation of problems within the IT organization and in general a contribution to the successful use of Information Technology at the Company.

This role will be based in a company office location but travel to other offices inside and outside the country may be required.

K ey Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and implement physical changes within the team or by leveraging other teams.
  • Provide Systems administration of Telephone, Voicemail, Call recording, Unified Messaging, Cabling infrastructure and other telecommunications equipment and services.
  • Maintain an inventory of telecommunication hardware, services and software.
  • Verify Telecommunication devices and services are operating at its best performance by utilizing monitoring tools and reporting.
  • Distribute extensions and voice mail numbers.
  • Participate in project tasks and assist coworkers with telecommunication support / issue resolution.
  • Control quality by tracking and analyzing process data against client requirements; obtaining feedback from the process client(s);
  • and taking action, when required, to maintain process stability.

  • Tracking calls / tickets through a computerized system.
  • Implement, maintain and upgrade of telecommunication components including related supporting infrastructure devices, components or services.
  • Document existing and proposed voice / telecommunication infrastructure.
  • Supply evaluations of telecommunication equipment and services and responsible for sourcing, bidding and procurement of telecommunication equipment.
  • Order and install components for telephony connectivity and services, including cabling and terminations.
  • Check with vendors and the business to select standard systems and software and setting proper support.
  • Key Requirements / Experience

  • 4-year college degree or related experience
  • 3 years of Telecommunications experience.
  • Experience with Mitel, Cisco, Microsoft Skype / Teams, Audiocodes telephony hardware and technologies
  • Strong interpersonal skills must be able to interact with personnel in multiple business roles.
  • Good English verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience in Vendor Management
