Email Marketing Publisher PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES The Email Marketing Publisher is responsible for the day-to-day execution and dispatch of email marketing campaigns to promote events, trainings and services offered by SGS.

The publisher is also expected to perform tasks assigned by the Web & Email Marketing Supervisor and the Email Marketing Strategist that contributes to the goals of the business affiliates in the generation of business leads.


  • Review and assess the correctness, completeness and validity of the requests and their accompanying documents that go into the Email Marketing request queue
  • Create email marketing campaigns using the SGS email templates while ensuring compliance to SGS Brand marketing guidelines and email marketing best practices
  • As part of the QA process, ensure a thorough buddy QA on campaigns created by teammates, spotting errors and inconsistencies between the request template and the draft output and at the same time checking for any violation of SGS Brand marketing guidelines and best practices
  • Review campaigns created by independent business marketers to ensure compliance with the Email Marketing and SGS Brand marketing guidelines
  • Ensure compliance with the Email Marketing team’s Service Level Agreement, responding to requests within 24 hours from receipt and completion of requests within the 7-
  • working days standard completion schedule

  • Perform non-operational tasks directly related to an and / or Email Marketing project as assigned by the team supervisor, project manager or the strategist
  • Perform other tasks that are related to the department and / or organization’s vision and goals

  • Bachelor’s degree in information management, marketing courses, communications or equivalent
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to collect, organize and analyze information with attention to detail, accuracy and validity
  • Experience in web publishing and supporting technologies (HTML, CSS, Adobe Photoshop and others)

  • Has initiative and proactiveness to come out with ideas and recommendations for the continuous improvement of campaigns and processes
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Able to follow procedure, processes and guidelines
  • Acts quickly and decisively; able to make tough calls
  • Customer-focused and delivery-oriented
