Primary Responsibilities :

  • Pays employees and compiles payroll information by managing payroll preparation; completing reports; maintaining records accurately, completely and competently.
  • HR Operations, Personnel and Administrative Functions. General office support functions and facilitation with management and all departments on the overall direction and execution of Human Resources (HR) end-to-end operations, policies, procedures and functional core areas, particularly in matters relating to Payroll & Timekeeping, Human Resources Information System (HRIS) and such other Records Management, Compensation and Benefits, Total Rewards Management, Manpower On-Boarding And Staffing and other HR-related processes with translation to or execution by payroll management.
  • Specific Responsibilities :

  • Compensation and Benefits Management Responsibilities. Administration and implementation of monetary benefits of all employees, as well as government mandated benefits (i.
  • e. SSS, Pag-IBIG, PhilHealth), in compliance with conformed employment contract provisions and government-mandated laws; implementation of salary structure and benefits matrix, job offers, personnel movements such as lateral transfer, promotion, change of position title, re-organization, position upgrade, regularization, temporary appointment and salary adjustment;
  • strict compliance to Labor Standards set by the law, including consistent adherence to working conditions and terms for worker’s statutory monetary benefits.

  • Payroll & Timekeeping Administrative Management Duties. Maintains payroll information by designing systems; directing the collection, calculation, and entering of data;
  • updates payroll records by reviewing and approving changes in status, exemptions, insurance coverage, deductions, taxations, and job titles, and department / unit / store transfers;
  • pays employees by directing the production and issuance of paychecks or electronic transfers to bank accounts.

  • Mandatory Corporate, Legal and Regulatory Compliance Duties. Prepares reports by compiling summaries of earnings, taxes, deductions, leave, disability, and nontaxable wages, including pay slips;
  • complies with statutory, local & legal requirements by studying existing and new legislations; enforcing adherence to requirements including Implementing Rules and Regulations (IRRs);
  • advising HR leadership and TH Management on needed actions

  • Collaborative Duties with Accounting & / Finance Department. Balances the payroll accounts by resolving payroll discrepancies;
  • provides payroll information by answering questions and requests; attends, reconciles and resolves any Accounting & Finance matters.

  • Duty to be abreast of the Technical and Professional Payroll Competencies. Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops;
  • reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies; updates payroll guidelines by writing and updating policies and procedures subject to the approval of HR leadership

  • Manpower On-Boarding and Staffing Services. Maintains employee confidence and protects payroll operations by keeping information confidential;
  • support requests due to the recruitment, selection, orientation, and training of employees.

  • Payroll & Timekeeping Support and Services. Maintains payroll requests due to suspension, disciplinary actions, employee sale and any actions confirmed via an Authority-to-Deduct payment scheme including planning, monitoring, and appraising such payroll status or update.
  • Post-Employment Affairs such as resignations, contract verification, separation updates, extension, retraction, exit interviews & procedures, clearances and accountabilities
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
  • Check figures, postings, and documents for correct entry
  • Secures and maintains all files, records, cash and cash equivalents in accordance with policies and procedures, and pursuant to utmost confidentiality and the data privacy act;
  • maintain confidentiality of proprietary information; protect company assets; protect the privacy and security of the organization and the employees

  • Records, stores, accesses, and / or analyzes computerized financial information
  • Classifies, codes, and summarizes numerical and financial data to compile and keep financial records, using journals, ledgers, and / or computers
  • Completes period-end or closing procedures and reports as specified periodically according to SOPs
  • Maintains, distributes, and records petty cash, cashier banks, and contracts or other commercial documents and sensitive or employee’s personal information
  • Participates and complies in internal, external, and regulatory audit processes and ensure compliance with SOPs and the laws
  • Follow all company policies and procedures;
  • Determines HR (People Department) and Payroll & Timekeeping & Compensation & Benefit Administrations and Total Rewards Management Key Performance Indicators (KPIs);
  • creates and presents KPI reports

  • Performs other tasks or duties as may be assigned by HR leadership or TH Management from time to time
  • Bachelor’s degree focusing on Human Resources, Business or Accounting degree holder or another related course
  • Extensive HR supervisory or management experience
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as Employee Relation (non-unionized) and Staff Communication or Engagement Manager or similar HR role
  • Demonstrates deep personal accountability for great performance

  • Experience with HRIS and SAP or any payroll or timekeeping software applications and programs
  • Can demonstrate great business understanding, analytical and with real eye for detail
