Key Responsibilities :

Data collection and organization

  • Collects, analyze and summarize information
  • Elicit information on how the process actually work before documenting definition and attributes
  • Discover patterns and trends in data collected
  • Work closely with Business Support in maintaining inventory lists and logs of operational issues
  • Respond to adhoc report requests
  • Process Review and Enhancement

  • Analyze process models as they are (As-is), compare them to the future state (To-be) and determine the necessary changes in getting to the improved state.
  • Perform continuous reviews of a process or system to align processes (e.g. models, goals, expectations) with changing business conditions and new products and service offerings
  • Work closely with Transition Analyst and other SMEs
  • Operational efficiency

  • Creates data mapping documentation between different sources
  • Document process capabilities & performance
  • Determine opportunities in operations to become leaner and more efficient, e.g. detect the weakest link of the chain, or what handoffs post the most potentially damaging disruptions
  • Develop preventive measures and document issue resolution procedures
  • Stakeholder Management

  • Document processes in the appropriate format (Use cases, Playbook, Standard Operating Procedures, Work Instructions)
  • Prepares customers by conducting training to end users
  • Creates and maintains related documentation pertinent to identified changes such as data mapping, process flow diagrams, business rules, service level agreements for successful receipt, delivery and change in transactions
  • Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards
  • Qualifications :

  • University Business Degree and / or recognized designation Management Information, Economics, Business, Finance, Computer Science or Engineering
  • Working experience on using Lean Six Sigma or TQM practices
  • Experience documenting processes and practices, in accepted project methodology , while effectively prioritizing multiple tasks, priorities, projects and deadlines
  • Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills and experience with database applications, preferred
  • Intermediate skills in using MS Visio or other process modeling applications
  • Intermediate skills in MS Project and SharePoint, InfoPath or other project management applications
  • Strong oral / written communication skills required to interact with senior officers and representatives from other Divisions and functional departments
  • Demonstrable experience in a similar role
  • Logical, structured approach to performance monitoring and tuning
  • Ability to work closely with the business to understand requirements and craft solutions
  • Logical, structured approach (e.g. to prioritising work, problem analysis and resolution)
  • Competencies :

  • Well-developed analytical skills, with the ability to define document and resolve problems utilizing a variety of analytical tools
  • Capable of gathering and validating requirements in order to resolve issues and problems
  • Generates new and unique ideas, approaches and solutions to problems and opportunities. Openly questions traditional assumptions.
  • Good working knowledge on investments and finance, supporting business applications and procedures
  • Understands expectations that were set with client and recognizes when issues / events may affect delivery
  • Proven ability to quickly and easily adapt to changes within the business and organization
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize own work within project timelines
  • Competent at facilitating, creating materials and presenting level appropriate material in a small group meeting
  • Effective interviewing, negotiating and influencing skills
  • Strives to seek out ways to improve team dynamics
