Job Description

To manage the transport operations process and organization thru effective planning and execution of inbound materials and outbound customer deliveries, monitoring delivery status and customer receipts ensuring accuracy, timeliness of execution and agreed levels of customer service and satisfaction

Work Location : Maysan, Valenzuela

Work Schedule and Set up : Office based, 6 days / week ; Shifting Schedule - 7am - 4pm and 1pm - 10pm

RESPONSIBILITIES

Plan, lead, organize transport operations and teams

Prepare weekly and daily transport requirements plan to meet volume objectives

Evaluate required transport equipment and other resources; ensure availability of eqpt to meet movement volumes

Ensure transport processes adhere to SOP and established controls

Ensure courier deliveries are done as scheduled and meet service level agreements

Directly supervise transport teams and coordinators including admin tasks

Lead problem solving efforts to continuously improve transport performance

Report on transport and courier performance vs plan and / or other required KPIs

Review and ensure maintenance of accurate data regarding the transport service providers, couriers, delivery vehicles, ship-to addresses, etc.

Take corrective actions to resolve issues impacting customer deliveries from system capture to receipt of delivery

Coordinate and communicate to Sales and Marketing any impact arising from transport availability issues

Other Functions

Contribution to team meetings and decision making

Performs other duties as may be assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

  • With bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Industrial Engr or SCM / Logistics.
  • With minimum of 5 years as supervisor or team lead in the same capacity.
  • Relevant experience and industry practices related to Transport Logistics and Customer Service is preferred. Preferably from industries of consumer electronics, specifically on mobile, electronic gadgets and appliances.
  • Above average analytical, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Must have ability to create procedures and policies relevant to the scope of work and have the drive to execute to the organization.
