Job description : The Data Engineering Chapter delivers data products to accelerate the delivery of analytics and workflow solutions.

This includes end-to-end data lifecycle activities analyzing and mapping data sources, creating common information models, designing integration that enables data movement, and developing the pipelines that ultimately lead to data products.

Key responsibilities

  • Understand business use of data and stakeholder requirements to support work processes and strategic business objectives
  • Leverage data, software engineering, and data science techniques to create business value through data accessibility. Includes data ingestion, data preparation and analytics processing .

  • Identify, acquire, cleanse & prepare, store data and develop data products aligned with defined architecture patterns
  • Responsible for normalizing and ingesting data from multiple sources including B usiness P rocess C onsolidation , B usiness W arehouse , Service Now, and Azure.

    Enable data scientists, making data available for advanced analytics models, and contributing to models .

    Work with M achine Learning Engineer to scale and deploy solution including model, documentation, training, integration

    Prioritize & take ownership of work. Communicate progress on work deliv e rables

  • Work collaboratively in an agile construct . Works with global teams and across time zones.
  • Provide feedback & be receptive to feedback received. Share best practices among peers.

    Requirements

    Required education / degrees : Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related STEM field is preferred, but not required.

    Successful candidates may also have k nowledge and / or experience with :

  • Requirements

    Required education / degrees : Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related STEM field is preferred, but not required.

    Required qualifications / certifications Certifications in network security technologies, cybersecurity operations, cloud platform development (Azure, ServiceNow) are highly desirable.

    Certifications in SAFe Scaled Agile or related scrum / agile project management framework is desirable. Successful candidates may also have experience with some of the following (not required) : Demonstrated ability to work effectively at all levels with operations, design, projects, vendors, peers, etc.

    Ability to influence and motivate teams, and work with a variety of disciplines, cultures, and environments. Fosters cooperation and collaboration among individuals on the team.

    Demonstrated ability to provide OE leadership behaviors across enterprise through rigorous change management and compliance processes, while driving efficiencies.

    Prioritize work efforts across many priorities to improve service delivery and issue resolution. Knowledge of techniques and tools that promote effective analysis and the ability to determine root cause and resolution of problems.

    Provide subject matter leadership in cybersecurity infrastructure during cyber incidents, response, and remediation. Communicates in a clear, concise, understandable manner both orally and in writing.

    Listens carefully and asks questions to understand the views, concerns, and comments of others. Promotes communications in all directions within work groups and between work groups.

    Encourages open expression of ideas and opinions.
