By joining us as an Accounts Payable Team Lead , you will join a group of high-performing, dynamic, and customer-focused accounting and finance team that supports intercompany transactions which include accounts payable, issue resolutions of invoices, reports and reconciliation, internal / external audit support, and intercompany netting payments selection.

In this capacity, you will have the opportunity to leverage your accounting proficiency and auditing skills in providing excellent financial service to Emerson as a member of the Global Financial Services Manila organization.

IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL :

Handle large sites

Act as 2nd level back-up if volume is high; respond timely and accurately to the escalations of the Level 1 support.

Ensure the Service Level Agreements are on target.

Anticipate and foresees the requirements of customers based on previous data and precedents.

Train new hires and ensures that they have sufficient knowledge and skills before performing their work alone / independently.

Generate reports based on team deliverables and present to management and counterparts

Assist direct reports in resolution of escalations on the area of specific support.

Identify problems, analyzes trends and implements corrective and preventive actions using quality tools

Coordinate with auditors on supporting documents needed for the audit.

FOR THIS ROLE YOU WILL NEED :

A Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy, Finance or related discipline

At least 7 years related working experience in General Accounting with extensive experience in Accounts Payable

Leadership experience

Knowledge of internal control and GAAP

Proficiency in ERP applications

Proficiency in English communication skills

Proficiency in MS Office applications

Willingness to work on mid or night shift schedule
