The PMO Specialist will report to primarily to the CalcDev Portfolio lead to support a variety of project management activities including managing deliverables for software development projects and resource management
The PMO Specialist will also manage the governance of PMO practices, help define standards, and identify then implement process improvements across the PMO function.
The PMO Specialist will work with other functions to ensure that stakeholder expectations are managed with high quality, accuracy, and timeliness.
PMO Coordination and Support
Works on deliverables that will be delegated in support of PMO functional priorities and projects
Support the management of PMO processes
Manages planning, status reporting, project metrics and KPIs and any other relevant reporting and related PMO deliverables
Communicate with appropriate stakeholders to ensure that deliverables have high quality and are delivered on time
Provides analytical support and completes ad hoc requests as required in line with the PMO function’s needs
May serve as a back-up project manager on projects as needed
Minimum 2 years of experience in Resource Management
High degree of attention to detail
Strong verbal, written, interpersonal communication and negotiation skills.
Experience providing high quality PMO coordination and support within a software development environment
Experience in process improvement initiatives (assessment, planning, implementation)
Highly collaborative and able to gather and synthesize information with minimal oversight
Experience working with global teams in a dynamic environment
Solid working experience in Microsoft Products such as : Microsoft Project, Excel, Powerpoint and Sharepoint
Experience creating and managing data dashboards using PowerBI or similar data visualization tools preferred
Experience with JIRA and Confluence is a plus.
