This position isresponsible for : inventory planning, process development, planning &execution, customer & client interaction / business partnership, andsystems / data management, reporting & analysis.
This is a moretactical role than Supply Planning and would likely be used in high StockKeeping Unit program (SKU), warehouse network type environments.
Theintegration of various phases of the supply chain as customer focus, logisticsof the factories, productive process, warehousing and distribution are a mustfor this position.
This role ensuresinventories are accurate at any given time, mitigating write off cost,lessening ageing stock which also meetcustomer food safety and food quality requirements.
Third party warehouses evaluation, performance management, andmethods to investigate and provide objective evaluation are also key componentsof this position.
a)With direct oversight,maintains data relevant to inventory planning activities including capacity,constraint, logistics, supplier, master and location data.
b)Generate and execute cycle stock and safety stock plansfor the assigned product or location, utilizing the approved supply plan inputs
c)Create the finished goods inventory plans for assignedproduct(s) or locations, and provide for business review
d)Create orders for network distribution moves andcommunicate to logistics for execution
e) Manage inventory levels to expected volume andworking capital levels and provide solutions when business parameters changerequiring a change to inventory expectations
a)Provide Inventory Plans for assigned product or location intothe Cargill Integrated Business Planning (CIBP) Process
b)Generate strategic Inventory 24 months projection for major SKUs
c)Monetized 24 months projectedholding cost and inventory value
d)Uses developing knowledge to provide support to execute follow upaction items from CIBP meetings as assigned with assistance from others
BUSINESSPERFORMANCE MANAGEMENT METRICS
a)Perform stockposition analysis and raise flag to commercial team for any overstock,understock situation
b)Generate ageingstock report and raise flag to mitigate write off of inventories
c)Define and reviewABC XYZcategorization in order to define safety stock settings per category Reviewthe documents compliance in terms of timeliness and accuracy in encoding andhighlights contributory factors to non-compliance.
d)Evaluate portfolio of SLOBS ( Low rotationObsoletes) to prevent waste of working capital
e)Actively participate on physicalinventory and ensure that theoretical inventory were accurate with actualcounts.
f)Review supply chain material andplanning parameters to minimize the inventory cost while optimizing thecustomer service level (fill rate)
g)Measuredmonitored and improved KPIs such as :

h)Assists in setting Inventory Planning metricstargets
i)Assists in developing action plans to close gaps betweentarget and actual measures
j)Support of continual Inventory Planning processimprovement input
k)Participates in root cause analysis to identify andcorrect inventory deviations
