The Genetic Consultant will be a critical position in the Company with a passion for providing genomics-based healthcare and medicine for clients to recommend informed decisions based on client’s genetic tests.

We are looking for a competent Genetic Consultant that can lead the provision of high quality and professional consultations based on genetic tests.
The ideal candidate has a passion and clear understanding of genetics, SNPs, alleles, and their specific impact on health.
The main role is to provide superior counselling to clients with interpretation of their genetic results correlated with nutrition, fitness, supplements for health and wellness, and how they can manage the risks for DNA-personalized solutions.
Provision of accurate and professional genomic consulting to client’s genetic reports and discussion of actionable recommendations, in accordance with company standards
Creation and establishment of workflows for standardized genomic consultation processes
provide cross-functional support to internal departments and other stakeholders to answer scientific inquiries as needed
Recognize emerging needs and concerns of clients and raise in R&D Science Team for future improvements and resolutions aligning with The Company’s corporate goals
Providing research support to the R&D Science Team’s projects during downtime, or as allowable
BS and / or MSc in Genetics, Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry or any related field.
Excellent understanding of genetics, genomics, healthcare, as well as nutrition, fitness, and supplements.
Critical thinking, problem solving, and attention to detail
Fluency in the English language is a must due to the client communication aspect of the role
Broad theoretical or clinical experience in basic life sciences like physiology and biomedical sciences, and / or other areas of genetics
Excellent understanding of benefits and side effects of nutrition, exercise, dietary supplements as therapeutic interventions to manage risks and disorders
Prior experience of genomic counselling is preferred, but not required
