PicnicHealth is a San Francisco, California-based, venture capital-funded healthcare and technology company. Our mission is to structure the world’s medical data to make it useful.

We work directly with patients to collect, digitize, and manage their complete medical records, empowering them with control over their care through a personal health timeline.

Through this work we’re building the data sets that power some of today’s most cutting edge medical research. We’re on track for rapid growth in the next year, coming off of our recent Grand Prize finish in Google Cloud’s Machine Learning Startup Competition.

The office in Cebu, Philippines is responsible for medical record processing operations RNs, Medical Technologists, Pharmacists and Collections Agents who work with a wide-range of medical records, creating usable databases and beautiful timelines.

In addition, the Cebu office is a new tech startup office with its own challenges and opportunities ones we feel are best addressed by a strong, local team.

Job Brief

We are looking for a professional Project Manager who will own and oversee the planning and implementation of continuous improvement projects.

The role takes responsibility for successfully overseeing a project from start to finish. You will be driving the implementation and operationalize the plans based on agreed measures.

The projects you own will span to various areas of operations, from systems implementation, new feature releases, process improvements, and new product roll-outs.

The Project Manager is important for our growth and business, success in this role opens up opportunities for the business to rapidly grow and scale our operations.

Your ability to drive and complete deliverables will provide high impact to the growth of the Cebu organization.


  • Helping define, build and scale the new Continuous Improvement and Project Management function
  • Define scope of projects. You will take ownership in identifying key deliverables and goals for the project.
  • Identify key inputs and resources needed to implement improvement projects. Partner with product, business development and engineering to help identify design specifications
  • Develop transaction protocols, decision trees, and dashboards needed to execute projects.
  • Align with operations leadership to help build, train and equip frontline teams.
  • Lead and participate in project planning and reviews.
  • Track the execution and progress of deliverables. Provide corrective and preventive measures when projects are delayed.
  • Identify and implement improvement initiatives. Collaborate with stakeholders to develop improvements and enhancements to tools and systems
  • Lead quality control for project processes. Provide corrective and preventive measures for errors.
  • Requirements

  • 3+ years of continuous improvement and / or project management experience.
  • Deep understanding of project management and continuous improvement techniques and tools.
  • Experience working with healthcare operations a plus.
  • Experience in strategic planning, risk management and / or change management.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills, with excellent verbal and written ability.
  • Ability to think through problems deeply and thoroughly
  • Excellent decision-making and leadership capabilities.
