Analyst (Japanese Contract Review)
Role Summary
The Japanese Contract Reviewer will be primarily responsible in supporting the Drafting team processes for Japanese agreements.
Work as a subject matter expert on contract drafting, review and management for US, UK and other jurisdiction client.
Duties & Responsibilities :
Ensure quality standards are achieved
Ability to interpret the Japanese contracts and analyse it
Well versed with legal research, compliance, and due diligence related work
Ability to identify issues, escalate it to the client as, and when need be
Tracking of contracts diligently and maintaining report metrics accurately
Maintaining accuracy report meticulously for all the contracts on which quality check is performed
Maintain confidentiality of all information in entirety
Achieve higher productivity along with maintaining impeccable accuracy grades
Adaptability towards new technologies and the work environment
Ability to work with global teams and be a team player
Liaise between the client and India delivery teams
Work on client system through remote access
Prepare and supervise Reports for Delivery
Maintain personal and team records of work done
Train team members on processes including contract review and management
Manage timeline
Required Skills / Abilities :
Proficiency in MS Office Suite (particularly Excel)
Above average to excellent English communication skills, both in oral and written forms
Has strong understanding of Contract Management (Drafting and Review)
Education and Experience :
Candidate must have a Bachelor's / College Degree in Law or equivalent
At least 2 years of working experience in a similar corporate environment
Must be N2 Certified or above in the Japanese Language (preferably Native Japanese Speaker)
