As a Delivery Manager, you will be responsible for facilitating the timely production of the customer’s main platform through the effective management of Sprint Team members and work their work schedules.
The role is to clear any impediments that may slow down the team’s progress on the project and set the timelines on which tasks will be delivered.
You will be a strong communicator and have expert knowledge of agile methodologies. You will set the vision for the sprint team, calculate capacity, set priorities, and ensures the work is completed on time.
Required Skills & Experience :
Good technical insight into SASS technologies (.NET, SQL Server, Azure).
Expert understanding of agile methodologies and best practise.
Extensive background in development and test, delivering complex projects through the lifecycle.
Project planning and progress monitoring, including budget and milestone control.
Creative problem solver, able to build contingency plans and handle all situations with professionalism.
Be the single point of contact for delivery and act as an advocate between Voodoo Park and the customer.
Drive and coordinate crisis management.
Strong negotiation and presentation skills.
Excellent command of English.
Able to work UK office hours.
Tasks and Duties :
Defining and documenting project scope and resource requirements.
Setting timelines for deliverables.
Defining and managing priorities against the available capacity of team members.
Facilitating and leading daily stand-up’ meetings.
Attending customer Scum of Scrums meeting to update other Sprint Teams on progress, and to share issues and knowledge.
Negotiating with internal and external stakeholders.
Creating a collaborative, innovative and efficient working culture.
Managing a cross-disciplinary team.
Upholding morale and team performance in challenging circumstances.
Encouraging regular iteration on deliverables.
Ensuring the regular delivery of projects and products in accordance to agile methodologies.
