Job Purpose :
Implement initiatives to ensure that advisors optimize leads conversion programs, social media platforms, and digital tools in generating new business for Sun Life while still adopting a Client-centric mindset.
Major Responsibilities :
1. Ensure the Agency effectively converts leads farmed from Marketing campaigns, events, and social media, by means of :
Selecting and handling of advisors that have qualities that best represent Sun Life
Establishing development programs, training / communication strategies, and success metrics to sustain capabilities to convert leads / prospective clients
Taking the role of "Account Manager" for advisors, as the single point of contact for lead management concerns
2.. Ensure the Agency correctly represents and protects Sun Life's brand reputation on Social Media, by means of :
Implementing sustainable programs for Social Media Etiquette and Brand awareness
Advocating branding guidelines for Social Media content across the Sales Department and Agency Channel
Collaborating with Marketing in providing Social Media content needs and templates for advisors
3. Represent Sales in strategic cross-functional projects related to lead management and social media brand reputation, and serving as the :
Subject matter expert on advisor experiences
Sales representative for business user acceptance testing
Champion of Social Media Etiquette awareness for advisors
Advocate of the agency's needs for leads, digital, and social media
4. Monitor lead conversion and social media trends, generate regular reports for upper management, and work various teams to ensure lead conversion and social media behaviors are aligned with expectations
5. Champion the leads / digital / social media needs of the agency to the head office
Preferred Skills :
Proficient in oral and written communication; can simplify and translate complex concepts
Good understanding of how digital systems work
Knowledge on Social Media trends and practices
Ability to generate reports and provide basic analysis based on trends and patterns
Can work with minimal supervision
Design skills / aesthetic are a plus
College graduate of any Advertising or Marketing course
Five years in business or marketing communications preferably with digital / social media exposure
