eCommerce Content Manager will drive planning, creation and optimization of conversion-focused product content for digital channels.
DUTIES & AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Develops strategy for building conversion-focused content from brand-approved base copy for use across eCommerce channel
Lead optimization of site content to drive sales, using analytics insights, campaign performance and SEO best practices
Develops and enhances shop content templates for repeated usage to deliver a consistent brand-feel online
Builds and manages overall shop content publishing and archiving schedule.
Work with marketing, UX and creative teams to ensure consistency of content with design and product strategy
Create & edit e-commerce copies following practices that deliver online conversions and positive user experience, as needed
Drive creation and production of visuals and images for web pages, in collaboration with visual artists or creative agencies
Identify opportunities to reuse, recycle and repurpose content from internal and external partners to drive continuous enhancement of the value of the site
Research new content areas from top eCommerce sites to surface opportunities that can increase overall site performance
Ensure created and curated content reflect and adhere to brand and design guidelines
Bachelor's degree required, ideally in Marketing, Business or Communications or relevant industry experience.
2+ years work experience in creating best-in-call eCommerce content
Great communication skills, both in writing and verbal communication
Proven ability to create content that converts, understands and can apply best practices for eCommerce
Effective editorial and proof-reading skills
Extremely creative with an eye for layout and design
Understands and proven execution of SEO best practices
Familiar and can interpret website analytics and draw actionable insights to optimize content performance
A strong strategist that understands the why behind the copy
A good researcher, as they build content or look for ways to enhance the website
Can develop content for complex, efficient websites quickly
Able to handle deadline-driven pressure
Adapts effectively with a variety of situations, individuals, and technologies
Familiarity with Drupal as CMS preferred
