Reporting to the National Director, Human Resources, The Recruitment Manager position is responsible for leading the recruitment team, completing recruitment activities, as well as providing general support to the larger Human Resources team, Brick Corporate, Retail, Distribution, Commercial, Fleet and Trans Global Teams.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the greater recruitment team of coordinators across the company
  • Utilize and manage external recruitment sites and various social media platforms
  • Manage the Applicant Tracking System
  • Post job requisitions
  • Sort resumes, conduct phone interviews and coordinate the recruitment process with hiring managers across the company
  • Communicate job openings internally
  • Prepare and create standard reports
  • Assist in the coordination of and promotion of job fairs across various markets
  • Create recruitment plans, events, campaigns, and research new recruitment avenues
  • Support the creation of learning materials for hiring managers
  • Provide hands-on support to hiring managers company-wide
  • Administer backcheck screening
  • Participate on project teams as assigned
  • Qualifications

    Education and Experience Required :

  • Previous Recruitment experience
  • Recruitment or HR certification is not necessary but would be considered an asset (, RPR)
  • Experience with candidate searches in LinkedIn, Indeed and Jobillico an asset
  • Experience with Enterprise level ATS systems (iCims)
  • Knowledge and Skills Required :

  • Experience in motivating and managing teams
  • Service focused
  • Detailed oriented
  • Highly organized with proven ability in managing multiple tasks and working under pressure
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain data integrity and confidentiality
  • Demonstrated creativity and ability to think outside of the box
  • High level of initiative and drive
  • Professional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in all MS Office applications
  • Experience in managing and maintaining social media accounts (LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc.)
  • Experience using Adobe Photoshop is considered an asset
