Job Description: Summary:

The Business Systems Analyst will play a key role in supporting andmaintaining the systems used by Oracle NetSuite’s Professional Services (PS)Organization. This role will be working to report, coordinate andimplement system issues and its resolution with thestakeholders. The PS Business Systems Analyst will provide real timeas well as scheduled reports to ensure the practice has the proper data toexecute on decisions accurately and efficiently. In addition, the PSBusiness Systems Analyst will be responsible for documenting issues, businessrequirements, test cases and communication related activities.

Responsibilities:
  • Define and document business requirements
  • Update and test user configurations in the system
  • Investigate issues and identify solutions with partners, this can be completed by reviewing processes, data, scripting, etc.
  • Documenting test plans and test cases
  • Executing test cases for user acceptance to cross functional team to meet quality checkpoint
  • Communicate identified solution for acceptance and approval prior to moving forward
  • Communicate outcomes to original ticket submitter
  • Draft communications for PMO, PS Practice, executive, etc.
  • Participate in weekly meetings to identify priorities and set timelines
  • Work closely with other team members to share learnings and provide back-up support
  • Provide real time communication to PS Delivery Lead, Project Managers, Vertical Leads on important Core issues with the available interim solution to not disrupt daily tasks
  • Provide strategic solutions on system enhancements and compliance issues surrounding NetSuite
  • Drive implementation of new processes and participates on PS Managers Meetings to introduce new changes/updates on PS Process Documentation
  • Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in IT, MIS, Finance, Accounting, or Business.
  • At least 2-5 years of related experience supporting a global Professional Services organization in a Business Analyst role
  • Strong Microsoft Excel Skills including experience with pivot tables, analyzing and formatting data, use of filters, managing Workbooks, creating Charts & Graphs
  • Strong MS Visio and MS PowerPoint Skills
  • Good experience in documenting business, requirements, process documentation, test planning and execution, develop solutions with stakeholders
  • Experience working with change management and leading change to maximize results and meet deliverables
  • Knowledge and experience on Financial, Accounting, and Professional Services processes and reporting such as: Revenue Forecasting, Billing/Invoicing, Revenue Recognition, Collections, Purchase Order Processing
  • Willing to work on US hours/night shift schedule to support global operations.
  • Experience working directly with companies or customers based in NA, UK and/or Australia is an advantage.
  • Working experience with process documentations and process improvements preferred.
  • Excellent communication (verbal, written, and presentation) and interpersonal skills (outgoing and personable)
  • Must be a self-starter, detail oriented, w/ strong communication and organization skills.

  • Detailed Description and Job Requirements

    Responsible for the delivery of Product Specifications Documents to supplier partner(s) or delivery of process specifications to meet business specifications.

    May be done in partnership with business partner(s) or via guidance to business partner(s) for execution. Defines system specifications needed to roll out flexible business models. Responsible for understanding business objectives. Performs process or functional analysis to identify gaps compared to specifications, confers and/or drives issues with management for resolution, and ensures overall fulfillment of business specifications. Responsible for day-to-day engagement with business and/or process subject matter experts. Advises and consults with business teams prioritizing allocation of people resources, addressing project team problems ensuring that all team deliverables are met, and developing and presenting proposals of project plan and getting agreement from appropriate stakeholders. Understands and applies theories to policies and operating environment needed to effectively and efficiently complete assignments.

    Work involves some problem solving with assistance and guidance in understanding and applying company policies and procedures. Typically graduate or equivalent with 0 - 2 year experience.
