About the Role

Internally known as Procedure Writer / Publisher 2. Partner with line of business subject matter experts to understand business needs as it relates to procedures.

Draft and / or update moderate to highly complex business procedures and is primarily responsible for the ongoing maintenance and management of WFCC procedures, reference content and documentation housed on a centralized content management system.

In addition, will write and edit new task level documentation and facilitate the biennial review process with content owners.

Responsible for end-to-end procedures writing as assigned.

Responsibilities

Develop, analyze and recommend procedure changes based on business line processes, policy changes and identified gaps. The candidate will be responsible for collaborating with lines of business, risk management and business partners, to ensure compliance with actual processes, policies and regulatory requirements.

Other responsibilities for this position include :

  • Coordinate periodic Line of Business (LOB) review of existing procedures
  • Oversee onboarding of procedures to Open Text Content Management System.
  • Evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of new procedure content or procedure changes
  • Provide LOB support for questions and research that may be needed.
  • Coordinate production of periodic reports for management.
  • Publish and communicate procedural content changes
  • Remain current with Wells Fargo brand standards and communication standards
  • Team members support our focus on building strong customer relationships balanced with a strong risk mitigating and compliance-driven culture which firmly establishes those disciplines as critical to the success of our customers and company.

    They are accountable for execution of all applicable risk programs (Credit, Market, Financial Crimes, Operational, Regulatory Compliance), which includes effectively following and adhering to applicable Wells Fargo policies and procedures, appropriately fulfilling risk and compliance obligations, timely and effective escalation and remediation of issues, and making sound risk decisions.

    There is emphasis on proactive monitoring, governance, risk identification and escalation, as well as making sound risk decisions commensurate with the business unit’s risk appetite and all risk and compliance program requirements.

    Market Skills and Certifications

    Required Qualifications

  • 3 years of technical writing, documentation and publication experience.
  • Content Management System knowledge is helpful
  • Ability to articulate complex concepts in a clear and concise manner (verbally and written)
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
  • Experience with Open Text Content Management platform or other content management systems (preferred, not required)
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, demonstrate flexibility, and implement change
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work with procedures by writing, editing and formatting

  • Tenacity to drive for results
  • Experience with HTML
  • Ability to influence and interface with content owners and editors.
  • Works well both independently and within a team environment.
