This role will be an integral part of a global team that will deliver technical solutions in a quality and efficient manner to clients around the world.

  • Provides expertise in the clients’ business and in the industry where the client belongs.
  • Responsible for the analysis and definition of the business and system requirements, recommends solutions to improve the clients’ business.
  • Communicates the business requirements and recommended solutions clearly to the development lead / SA. Has a good understanding of what it takes to deliver solutions.
  • Participates in the development of solutions and ensures that solutions and other deliverables satisfy the business requirements.
  • Creates technical documentation and functional user documentation.
  • Develops comprehensive test plans for system implementations.
  • Performs unit and comprehensive testing with system developers for overall quality assurance of functional and technical quality of deliverables.
  • Trains users on the system and provides ongoing technical support.
  • Identifies and raises risks and issues related to business needs and the team’s capability to meet these in a timely manner.
  • Leads or assists management in the capture of new businesses.
  • Leads or assists business development team in the assessment of new clients’ business needs.
  • Leads or assists business development team in evaluating, writing, and presenting proposals.
  • Provides inputs to project management for use in schedule planning.
  • Assists Project Manager in determining work effort and scheduling.
  • Tracks the project status and communicates status to project manager or lead consultant or to client as appropriate.
  • Ensures that assigned tasks are accomplished within the planned and agreed work durations.
  • Ensures that accomplishments and work hours are accurately accounted for in Extensity (or equivalent timesheet tool) and in weekly status reports.
  • Manages the business and system requirements of the clients, ensures that these needs are satisfied in all system and system-related deliverables.
  • Ensures that business requirements are controlled in accordance with the agreed project scope.
  • Reviews deliverables / output. Ensures conformance of deliverables to agreed business needs of the clients.
  • Ensures conformance to defined standards and processes.
  • Leads or assists in defining standards and processes to be followed to ensure quality in undertaking tasks and producing deliverables.
  • Assists in developing standardized work processes, tools, and methodologies that improve quality and profitability.
  • Clients

  • Communicates effectively with clients and project teams.
  • Attends team or client meetings as appropriate to present project specifications or report project status.
  • Develops strong client relationships from middle to senior management.
  • Ensures that clients’ business expectations are aligned with commitment at all times.
  • Financial

  • Assists project manager or other lead consultant in determining and monitoring overall project direction, scope, work plans, and budgets.
  • Assists in determining requirements for estimating new project budgets
  • Requirements :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Management Information Systems or related area.
  • At least two years of relevant work experience
  • Experience or training in : RDBMS, SQL, Web-based applications and tools
  • Experience with test plan creation, testing procedures and test plan execution is preferred.
  • Experience in the Financials, Human Resources or Benefits domain areas is preferred, but not required
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Experience working with the US and / or UK is preferred
  • Ability to work on "virtual" teams with members from different geographic areas
  • Ability to multi-task, and be mindful of deadlines.
  • Self-motivated and ability to remain focused on assigned projects.
