Support business growthby providing basic technical and sales support promoting Emerson products andsolutions to customers.

This position remotely manages relationships with smallto mid-size customers to allow US outside sales counterparts increased facetime with customers.


1. Performspre-sales activities for managed customers :

a. Map out annualobjectives based on Business Unit strategies at the beginning of each fiscalyear

b. Identify targetcustomers for outbound campaigns

c. Createproduct-specific outbound communication packages that aim to educate and serveas sales tools for customers

d. Prepare monthlyProgress Reviews, Territory Sales Report / Fiscal Year End Sales Report

2. Maintains theaccuracy and upkeep of each customer account in the database through thefollowing :

a. Update of eachcustomer file in a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tool

b. Documentationof each supported product


3. Manage orco-manage specific customers with domestic outside sales managers

4. Supportpost-sales activities with follow up calls to identify leads to new businessopportunities.

5. Provide timelyinformation updates on current products and on the company

6. SupportCustomer Service through the following :

a. Resolvetechnical and product issues

b. Update on newproduct launches and transitions

7. Recommendsolutions on customer issues as follows :

a. Projectproposals, product selection, transition, cross-reference and replacement

b. Material / Product Returns / Warranty

c. Pricingdiscrepancies

d. Lost ordefective products during shipment


8. Supportbusiness growth through the following :

a. Emerson brandcross-selling

b. Providesproduct research and act on literature request

9. Support salesactivities of the managed accounts as follows :

a. Point ofcontact for Emerson products and solutions

b. Coordinatesample activities and shipments to expedite requests and processing of orders

c. Decide oncredit recommendation on short paid invoices

10. Coordinate productsampling to customers from order entry to delivery


11.Conduct regularprogress reviews with Business Unit Point-of-Contact and local management


1. Participate inMonthly Sales Conference Calls

2. Attendstraining, workshop, seminar, and focus group discussions of the team

3. Work withindefined operational and employee goals by contributing to other projects, ifneeded


  • Graduateof any four-year business or behavioural discipline course preferred
  • Graduateof any engineering discipline course is an advantage
  • At leasttwo (2) years experience gained from interactive customer service and relatedfunctions
  • At leastthree (3) years experience gained from marketing, industrial sales, supplychain, engineering, manufacturing and technology business
  • Knowledgein Heating Ventilation Air Conditioning Refrigeration (HVACR) is an advantage
  • Backgroundin offshore service operations is an added advantage
  • Ability toassume cross-trained functions
  • Ability toassume back up functions due to skills and capacity constraints
  • Ability tobuild long lasting relationships with internal & external customers, andwork within a team setting
