Here’s a summary of what you will be doing in this job : The role is responsible for managing and engineering of end-user devices and technologies.

Acts as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) to provide advanced technical support, and troubleshooting, and will advise on the design and configuration of end-user technologies including workstations, mobile devices, IoT devices, operating systems, system / end-point management platforms, software applications, and policies.

Success in this role will require you to fulfill the following responsibilities : 1. Administer and manage the Mobile Device Management system.

2. Create, configure, and maintain security policies on the MDM and maintain enforcement.3. Conducts evaluation and testing of new hardware, software, and other equipment that may be considered for deployment, and certify for standard use.

4. Owns the lifecycle management of all supported devices (workstations, mobile devices, etc). Oversees all refresh, upgrades, and new deployment programs / projects.

5. Resolve escalations from Level 1 and Level 2 teams to provide advanced technical support on end-user devices.6. Contribute to the creation / facilitation / maintenance of policy documents, knowledge articles, guidelines, and user guides.

7. Work with other ITS teams or departments to plan, design, develop, build and deploy new end-user solutions.8. Partner closely with the Technical Support team for asset control of all support devices.

9. Liaises with other internal teams, vendors, suppliers, and telco providers, for maintenance, repairs, or other IT requirements and projects.

10. Performs other functions that may be assigned from time to time

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or any related technology course.
  • Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP), CompTIA A+, and / or Android certifications are preferred but not required.
  • Required 4+ years experience as a Technical Support, Desktop Support Engineer, or any infrastructure roles.
  • Minimum of 2 years experience as a System Administrator : supporting, maintaining, and troubleshooting MDM systems.
  • Proficient in Google Workspace (Google Docs, Sheets, Drive, and other Google Apps).
  • Experience working in a hybrid IT environment (on-premise and cloud) and supporting mixed platforms (ie., Windows and macOS)
  • Expert in the functionality and technical troubleshooting of Windows and macOS workstations.
  • Expert workstation hardware troubleshooting skills with focus on workstations and mobile devices, in whatever brand or make.
  • Intermediate to advanced working experience with Active Directory and Group Policy Objects with fundamental knowledge of infrastructure services such as DHCP, DNS.
  • Fundamental knowledge of LAN / WAN technologies, including wireless protocols.
  • Knowledgeable with Samsung Knox and / or other Mobile Device Management platforms.
  • Experience with design and implementation of Enterprise Mobile Device Management infrastructure.
  • Strong understanding of mobile device operating systems with advanced troubleshooting experience (Andriod, iOS, and Windows).
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to establish standards and guidelines for best-in-class mobile administration, and advanced technical support.
  • Professional written and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work with minimal supervision.
