Microsourcing's client is a leading specialist in operational, risk, and cyber due diligence of alternative and traditional asset managers.
The successful candidate will support our due diligence process through review of hedge fund, private equity and other investment company audited financial statements (AFS).
Each financial statement analysis considers topics such as the audit opinion; balance sheet and income statement presentation;
investment portfolio composition and footnote disclosures. Nearly 50 various analytics are generated from the financial statements data input.
Act as a subject matter specialist of hedge fund, private equity and long only financial statements
Review AFS input from data analysts, provide feedback to transfer knowledge, analyze the financial reporting profile of each fund in the portfolio and identify trends in the analytics factors
Train and continue to further develop our training program for our team of data analysts
Keep abreast of industry changes in US GAAP, IFRS and accounting framework from other jurisdictions
Candidates will hold a professional accounting designation with 3-5 years post designation experience
Prior experience in the preparation and analysis of investment company (especially hedge fund) audited financial statements
Knowledge of US GAAP, IFRS and accounting framework from other jurisdictions applicable to investment companies is required
Experience in a high quality professional services environment focused on investment companies would be an asset. Relevant prior experience could include a Big 4 accounting firm, fund administrator, asset manager or similar environment
Must be willing to work on a midshift schedule at MoA Pasay
