About the role
The ERP Technical Lead is responsible for playing a leading role in the successful delivery of TOA Global’s ERP solutions from inception to completion, providing expert services while liaising closely with management, vendors, clients and key stakeholders.
The role is both a technical and functional role, architecting and proofing appropriate solutions.
B.A. / B.S. in Computer Science or a related discipline, or related practical experience
5+ years of experience techno-functional role with ERP systems; Dynamics AX / Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations
Experience with configuring, customizing, and troubleshooting systems applications
Knowledge of programming concepts, design, procedures, and practices.
Experience with Agile / Scrum development process.
Experience as Scrum Master or Product Owner preferable.
Experience managing ERP technology projects, including gathering and documenting business requirements, designing, and configuring forms, developing workflows, building reports and dashboards, and troubleshooting application bugs
Experience using modern CI / CD pipeline and distributed version control systems like GIT
Experience working in a high-growth, performance-focused environment
Collaborative, team-first attitude, and drive to add value
Technical leadership experience of small effective teams advantageous.
Participate in requirement workshops and analyse business processes to provide solution recommendations relating to Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations.
Create and develop design specifications including gap / fit analysis documentation.
Lead the system design, architecture, configuration and customisation initiatives.
As required, conduct data migration activities in collaboration with the Data & Integration team.
As required, conduct prototype testing of customised solutions.
Work as a key member of the Solution Architecture Team to architect the ERP solution design, build and validation in alignment with enterprise architecture.
Work closely to guide and mentor the developer team to deliver and identify ERP customisation required.
Work closely with the technical test team to ensure the ERP deliverable is meeting the required standards.
Participate in the project quality assurance processes as appropriate.
Build Dynamics 365 / ERP specific components including customisations, extensions.
Set standard for development and unit testing practices.
Manage source control, continuous integration and delivery, DevOps processes .
Maintain roadmaps and development backlogs in conjunction with management and Product Owners.
Promote and practice regular events activities in accordance with the TOA-Agile way of working.
Mentor junior developers.
Grows, develops, and enhance solution best practices, tools, and methods.
Identify manual based processes that can be automated.
Use approved technologies to automate processes within Dynamics ERP.
Use approved integration tools to integrate systems within Dynamics ERP.
Work closely with the Change Management resources to facilitate change and communication management of the ERP project.
As required, provide end-user training and end-user support throughout the implementation.
Liaise and work closely with vendors engaged to deliver the ERP program.
