Functional overview

  • The primary role of the Logistics Coordinator and Billing Lead will act as our primary point of contact for our Asian Freight Forwarding accounting and operation but not limited too;
  • specifically working with various International Forwarding agents. service providers managing inbound & outbound freight shipments.

    The role is a support role and will interact closely with the operations teams located in the USA and Asia. The position is integral to business growth in Asia and will involve development to improve the order processing and the service delivery quality to end-customers.

    Job duties may be added or taken away due to operational / business needs and requirements.

    Duties and responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Sales, Operations, and Customer Service teams to ensure timely transactions input and to update shipment status
  • Input of trade documents, incoming invoices, and billings.
  • Monitoring collections and following up on older dated receivables.
  • Prepare necessary Quality Control Plan documentation.
  • Provide operational, accounting support to ensure maximum productivity.
  • Close collaboration with international business development team
  • Support / Manage cargo movements to / from Asia and inbound / outbound inter-company transfers.
  • Assist with key supply chain KPIs to monitor performance of various service providers
  • Identify operational / accounting deficiencies suggest solutions for process improvements.
  • Keep detailed records and generate reports to help management understand the operations.
  • Handle communications with external agents & Radiant offices.
  • Other duties and assignments as required.
  • Minimum qualifications

    Education and Industry Knowledge

  • High school diploma, College degree preferred.
  • Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in the transportation / logistics industry with an international freight forwarder, logistics provider
  • Understanding of standard accounting, invoicing, account receivable, accounts payable processes and practices within the Freight Forwarding industry
  • Understanding of international inward and outward-bound freight forwarding
  • Technical Skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office e.g. Outlook, Excel, Word,
  • Working knowledge of Transportation Management Software is an asset e.g. SAP, Cargowise.
  • Business Strategy Skills

  • Willing to work in Cebu IT Park with 9am-6pm shift
