The Customs and Transport Analyst is responsible in maintaining data for logistics monitoring system / database. The analyst strategically executes the Journey Management Plans developed with the guidance of the specialist and team lead.
The analyst provides assistance during import and export activities in the completion of required documents for regulatory compliance.
The analyst ensures the timely processing of duty exemption and customs releasing that secure maximum benefit to the organization.
Provide support to the team leader in the formulation and execution of journey management plan
Executes processing of duties exemption and customs clearance for Inbound and Outbound shipment
Maintain system and database to monitor the performance of external partners and provide inputs on performance evaluations significant for negotiations, contracting and decision making
Liaises and coordinates with the stakeholders to ensure all transactions / engagements are properly executed
Ensures transactions entered into are in line with policies and procedures
Performs other functions which may be assigned by his Superior from time to time
Graduate of Industrial Engineering and or Business related courses
Must be computer savvy and have advance knowledge in MS Office Applications
Knowledge in ERP system and proficiency in SAP is a plus
Must be highly analytical and equipped with sound problem solving skills
Organization skills and a strong attention to detail are required
Must have good oral and written communications skills
Ability to work on a team is strongly desired
